Customize my map

Set your favorite colors

To define your favorite colors, go to your profile: https://www.traveledmap.com/profile. Scroll down to "Default marker color" and "Default route color". Select your preferred colors, then click "Save".

These colors will now be used by default for your future markers and routes.

Change marker styles

To modify marker styles, first select a trip or create a TraveledMap. You can follow this page: https://www.traveledmap.com/help/add-trip.

In the window on the left of the screen:

• To change the trip icon, go to the "Trip" tab.
• To change the step icons, go to the "Steps" tab.

Then click on "Customize" which will open a new window.

Change marker icon

To change the marker icon, go to the "Icon" tab. Select the desired icon from the list.
If you can't find the icon you want, visit FontAwesome and copy the icon name into the dedicated field at the bottom of the page.

Change marker color

To change the marker color, go to the "Color" tab. Choose the desired color from the palette.

Change marker size

To change the marker size, go to the "Size" tab. Select the desired size from the available options.

Reset changes

To reset to the default appearance, click the "..." at the bottom of the window, then "Reset".

Save your changes

Once you’re done with all your modifications, click "Validate" at the bottom of the window to save them.

Change route color

To change the route color, start by generating them using the instructions available here: https://www.traveledmap.com/help/add-trip.

Then click on the route you want to edit (on the map or from the left panel), then on "Customize". Choose a new color and click "Validate" to apply the change.

Change the map background

You can change the map background for a more personalized look.
